The short version: we collect nothing. No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your study data lives on your device and nowhere else.
None. Part 107 Prep does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no analytics or advertising SDK inside the app.
Your answers, progress, flags, mock exam history, and settings are stored in a local database on your device only. Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no copy — we never see it.
The one-time Full Kit purchase is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We receive no payment details. Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
When you look up an airport's weather, the app requests that report directly from aviationweather.gov (a U.S. government service). Only the airport code you type is sent, solely to fetch the report you asked for. The app does not request or use your device's location.
The app may check our server for updated question content. This request contains no personal data or identifiers — it simply downloads the latest questions, like refreshing a web page.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children. The FAA requires remote pilot certificate applicants to be at least 16 years old.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date. Since the app's design makes data collection impossible without a rebuilt app, meaningful changes would coincide with an app update you'd approve through the App Store.
